Reseña literaria, chiquillos!!

or: literary review, kiddies!!

I've decided, as I have a couple spanish speaking visitors, I'll write both in english and spanish...

English:
Today I finished Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea"... Really a delightful experience... It confirmed what I suspected after reading "A Farewell to Arms"... This guy has one the best ability to inmerse you in the situation, with a heavy emphasis on the landscape...
While the plot is quite simple, an old washed-up fisherman fighting against a huge marlin for three straight days, the magic happens in the old man's thoghts and monologues... Don't misunderstand... It really isn't deep... It isn't pretentious or existentialist... It's simple. Simple. And its clear, and it comes from the heart.
And maybe that is what compels you to keep on reading quite firmly... It doesn't grab you by the throat and threatens you mentally to go grabbing that book again with a dooming sensation, like some books I've read (Ehem, ehem, HarryPottersaga, ehem)... You just emphatize with the old man and his honor sense, and wonder how his story will end... Even though there aren't many options for and end... That said, the end is some kind of surprising...

No es mia la foto. Pero es muy bonita.
Listening to Dido at the moment. The most well-known songs, but... She's one hell of a singer...

Clickie, clickie, please!! Ha, ha, ha!! I'm using the interwebz!!

No malinterpretes... No es muy profundo... No es pretensioso ni existencialista... Es simple. Simple.

Estoy escuchando a Dido. Sus canciones mas conocidas, pero... Mierda que sabe cantar...

Clickeen, que hace bien...
